Darth Cardinal

An well respected and feared ancient Sith belonging to the age of Darth Revan, Darth Cardinal was one of the most powerful and knowledgeable Sith to ever exist. Darth Cardinal is a very powerful master of the dark side of the force, though his quest for knowledge did make him powerful in the light side to.

Darth Cardinal is different from other Sith comparably, he's merciful and has great morals compared to other Sith. He evens derived a very peaceful and benevolent message from the Sith code. But theirs a reason he's feared, least because his crimson force lightning can naturally sever one connection from the force.

Darth Cardinal is one of few Sith to gain true Immortality, that to very present compare to other Sith. He's also know as Darth Cardinal the Knowledgeable, Darth Revan II, Lord of Nightmares and The Dream-Sith.

History:

Darth Cardinal was born to the Tribes of Korraban(Nin-khēmia to be Specific) on the Planet Korraban during the end of the Mandalorian wars. prior to meeting Revan Darth cardinal was partially trained sword combat from his father and discovered how to use force lightning on his own.

At the age of eight Darth Cardinal was wandering the Korrabanian planes where he confronted Dark lord of the Sith Darth Revan who was trying to disturb a tomb. He nearly defeated Revan in combat but loosed but instead of being killed he was recruited as Darth Revan's apprentice.

Over the first four years Cardinal mainly stayed on Korraban as he was being trained as a Sith lord, excelling much faster then his classmates due to his natural connection to the dark side. At the age of 14 he precipitated in a siege of a Republic planet, where he purposely let a Jedi go to tell the tale which happened their.

During the time after that he constructed more lightsabres. Among them was a green one, a Purple one, a yellow one, A Pink one, a white broad-saber and a double bladed black Lightsaber he called the Nightstaff.

At 16 he became a Sith master after winning a battle against the republic all by himself. He was granted a Sith apprentice himself, a being which would become Darth Shaa. He would also make a Lightsaber proof armorer to replace his robes.

On one mission he had to pretend to be Darth Revan in which he succeeded and Darth Revan granted him the secondary title of Darth Revan II. Though Darth Cardinal would never use this title.

During the age of 20 Darth Cardinal mysteriously disappeared, ending up stuck in his Sith oubliette within his tomb-like hideout. For over 2000 he secretly used his force powers to influence the events of the Galaxy.

He was freed during the battle of Korraban of 1010 BBY when he tricked two Jedi to freeing him before leaving Korraban, but not before giving Darth Bane his Darth title. He then went to shili to rest but had to save a 18 year old girl who he recruited as his apprentice Darth Yun.

At some point he went to Terrakybos to help Yun make her Lightsaber and fought two Sith warriors. He also make a Orange Lightsaber. At some point he had to save Darth Yun from Yooza Ziost, and apparently burned him alive, but  it's unknow if it really happened.

At 1008 BBY he accidently travelled to Mortis and unknowingly got bio-immortality from the well of the celestials with Yun. He eventually fell in love with Yun and got Married to her and went into hiding as the Sith went extinct, but not before visiting her family

Over the years in isolation he started to make his own Sith order during his peace on Kaldoth, making Sith lords to his criteria from birth or young age. Most of his followers followed his philosophy and were dead loyal to Cardinal and Yun.

At 41.9 BBY he sensed the birth of the chosen one and gave him a force vail to hide him from the Jedi until a worthy Jedi came to find him. He also sensed the birth of Ahsoka and decided to protect her in life due to her being the prophesised mother of the Rhandslayer.

After Sensing the events that will happen on Mortis, Darth Cardinal ventured there to intervene so not to risk the Rhandslayer prophecy, He did slightly change what happened on Mortis, but More or less ended up how it should be and he left.

During the clone wars he influence the dreams of Anakin to tell him what happened to Ahsoka while teaching him a philosophical lesson, which what he told about Ahsoka turned out to be true despite doubt.

He also talked to Shaak Ti in her dreams to make her stop feeling shameful of what she did 12 years ago as a young adult, also he told her that an old friend tried to visit her every year which turned out to be true as well.

When the empire came he still stayed in hiding, because he wanted to be left alone. He was seen in front of Ahsoka when she visited his fortress on Locnull to see what happened to a Inquisitor, though was believed to be a ghost.

After the Galactic civil war he still stayed in hiding until the Rhand conflict where he briefly reappeared to help stop the sorcerers of Rhand, and after thee war took care of the many children left over from Rhand, turning them into Sith.

After the battle of Exagol he went to the planet to pick up Darth Aztec's body and give it a tomb. Around 400 years later he somehow died after 4500 years of life and was buried in a tomb next to Yun on Locnull.

Legacy:

Darth Cardinal would be revered as one of the most powerful Sith of all time, especially for his knowledge of the dark side of the force.

Darth Onyx would take over after Cardinals death of ruling Cardinal's Sith order, trying to be just like him within the empire herself.

Notes:

Being a OC, Darth Cardinal doesn't have a canon or legends counterpart.

Darth Cardinal original name was Shokkai Nin-khēmia.

Darth Cardinal also possessed robes when he didn't wear his armour, but he mainly wore these after the New Sith wars.

Before having his Lightsabers, Darth Cardinal wielded(and still possess) a small Sith sword which he called “ The Voider of the Force”(It was the size of a Spatha)

As well as having a red Lightsaber, a blue Lightsaber, a green Lightsaber, a Purple Lightsaber, a yellow Lightsaber, a white broad-saber and a double bladed black Lightsaber he called the Nightstaff, Darth Cardinal has also constructed a Bronze/Brown Lightsaber, and an Orange Lightsaber.

It's likely that Darth Cardinal fathered Darth Nul Children, but how that relates to their eldritch nature

Darth Cardinal may seem odd so this is why he not like Sith while his reasoning is still very Sithic:

He speaks brute honesty since he sees lies as a weakness and comfort, to him lying tries to comfort you from the truth, and in the end fails as the truth can never be stopped. He also believed that the truth most of the time was painful and that lying itself was a trait of the light side.

Finally he didn't try and take over the galaxy after the time of Revan because he saw during that 2000 years of imprisonment that galactic rule is a pointless passion, he saw Knowledge as the ultimate power from the very beginning of his Sith career and valued it over dominance.

He also said that the Sith could control the galaxy without waging direct wars but in the shadows, then truly Sith could rule, something that became very true since that was Darth Bane approach.

If Darth Cardinal needed a voice actor, It would be David Sobolov, His TFP voice for Shockwave in particular, Just with the voice effects Sauron had from LOTR
