Darth Olmec



During the era of the galactic empire most dark siders were ether Banite Sith, Inquisitors, the ancient Sith or two or other Dark Jedi. Darth Olmec is an example of how a nobody became an feared but short lived independent Sith lord, that to with not being a Jedi in the first place.

Darth Olmec was once a normal Snowtrooper under the empire until his unit got marooned on the planet Ziost. By chance he encountered a Holocron which revealed all of Information to him, changing him  from a soldier to a conquer.

Though Darth Vader killed him before he could become to dangerous, Darth Sidious noted he acted like a true Sith in certain aspects, and could have been more worthy to be his heir then Vader.

History:

Darth Olmec was born as Osborn Nass around 39-38 BBY, when he was 18 he was married off in an arrange marriage to Julia Nass, who he fell in love with her. When the Galactic empire started recruiting people for the Stormtrooper corps he joined as a Snowtrooper, leaving his pregnant wife back on his home world.

He spent two years in training and for the next six years he loyally served as a Snowtrooper for the empire, though he didn't believe that the Jedi betrayed the republic, but he kept it to himself. 

This would change when he and a small grope of imperials accidently crashed on the ancient Sith planet Ziost. Though most of his unit died, those who survived managed to take shelter with in the ancient Sith citadel, this where everything changed.

Osborn would find a Sith Holocron while exploring the Citadel, which belonged to an ancient Sith pureblood that lived 6000 years prior. Then  spirit of Darth Kufos came, and offered to transfer the knowledge of the Holocron to his mind so he could save his men if he became a Sith lord. 

He agreed and he became Darth Olmec as he instantly learned the content of the holocron as well as basic Lightsaber combat. Darth Olmec built a Lightsaber from spare parts in the cavern before coming too his men.

After explaining what happened to him the survivors pledge alliance with him, Darth Olmec found some old garments which he gave to his men, while he crafted a robe for himself to symbolise his new self.

After a year he used the force to lure a Bogan-trooper to Ziost so they could escape and get revenge. After winning the trooper over as his Sith apprentice they left for an imperial world.

After landing their he and his troops started preparing for his payback for being left on Ziost. He headed to the planet of Nur, where he and his apprentice personally killed most of the Inquisitors, sparing the children and those not on Nur.

He then went to the base where Bogan-troopers were trained and after destroying the leader of the division forced them to become loyal to him via his apprentice. Only one trooper (Mara Jade) and the unit that would become the Knights of Ren didn't join him.

He then heard that Vader and the emperor was visiting Alderaan he planed to attack the planet, he announced himself to the galaxy and stated his intentions before attacking the city Vader and Sidious was in.

Vader fought Olmec, who told his story to the cyborg and how he became a Sith lord. Despite being outmatched by Olmec Vader managed to kill him by trickery, ending the insane Miraluka Sith lord's terror, Darth Vader personally took his Lightsaber and headband as a trophy.

Legacy:

Darth Olmec would be remembered for being the most dangerous threat to the empire until the galactic civil war started.

The crystal of Darth Olmec's Lightsaber would be used in making Kylo Ren's dark side Lightsaber. 

His face band on the other hand would come into the possession of his granddaughter, the Jedi knight Olivia Nass

His attack of the empire and claim that he was a Sith gave a rise in Sithtoligy(The study of the Sith culture, an archaeology sect)

His decibels became known as thee Minions of Olmec, who were hunted down by the empire and Mara Jade until extinction in 2 ABY.

His terrorism is the reason why it's protocol to call inquisitors when a stormtrooper is found force sensitive, to make sure another Darth Olmec doesn't rise again.

Darth Tanis

An ancient and obscure Sith Lady/ Sorceress, Darth Tanis was the last Dark lord to fight the Jedi during revan’s time. Though only a leader of a small grope of Sith, Darth Tanis actually did a lot during her time, including repairing the temple on Malachor II. Deran Nalual was one of the members of the Jedi order in the ending days of the republic, good friends to Ahsoka her most well known ability was the ability to calm others to the extent that they didn’t want to fight, ever.
