Sith order

The Sith order was a faction of force sensitive beings that used the Dark side of the force. Considered the arch enemy of the Jedi order they battled each other many times, going extinct but get revived again.

The Sith order were founded by a grope of exiled dark Jedi who were banished to Korraban, their they conquered the native Sith species and started the Sith order we know, their were many dark side gropes who bears the name of the Sith, all considered Sith in their own right.

One who studies the Sith order are known as Sithtoligist.

History:

Even before the Jedi exiles came to Korraban, the Sith species had a long history, they were united under the first King of Korraban king Adas. during Adas time the ancient Rakata tried to invade Korraban but they were repelled.

The first dark lords of the Sith were the Jedi exiles, a large grope of dark Jedi who survived the 100 years of darkness lead by 12 leaders. They conquered the Sith species and created the original Sith empire.

For 3000 years the Sith order flourished in isolation from the republic. During the ending millennium the title Darth became a title bared by Sith lords with the first known Sith lord with the Darth title Darth Andeddu and followed by Darth Kufos.

The fall of the Sith empire started with the death of Marka Ragnos, who after his death the Sith lords Naga Sadow and Ludo kressh fought for the throne, Sadow won and became dark lord of the Sith and started a failing war with the republic.

He was defeated and fled to Yavin with some Massassi warriors while the republic killed the Sith species to near extinction, only leaving Vitiate Sith and the tribes of Korraban as the only survivors of the Sith purge.

After that the Sith were very obscure, their was one Sith lord called Freedon Nadd(who was a former Jedi) but he was the only Sith out there. The first true return of the Sith was with Exar Kun’s Dark Brotherhood who nearly conquered the galaxy but was defeated and Kun was killed by his own apprentice.

The Next Sith order to come was Darth Revan’s Sith order(called the Revanite Sith) they used the Star forge to conquer most of the republic but Revan was captured and retrained as a Jedi where he managed to destroy his own empire.

Then after a few years the Sith triumvirate came and nearly wiped out the Jedi order but was destroyed by Meetra Surik. The galaxy had peace until the rise of the hiding reconstructed Sith empire, formed by remnants of Darth Vitiate and Revan’s empire they conquered the republic and gained half of the galaxy.

They would have a cold war before fighting again but was stopped by the arrival of the eternal empire which conquered the Sith empire and the republic. but this was short lived and the eternal empire fell.

There was third war but the reconstructed Sith empire lost and eventually collapsed. During the next thousand years their would be a Sith lord time to time leading their own grope but they didn’t challenge the republic.

Then 1900 BBY the fallen Jedi Phanius became Darth Ruin and united the small Sith clans as the new Sith and started the new Sith wars which would ravage the republic for almost a thousand years. Multiple known Sith lords during this time included Darth Rivan, but history then was barely recorded.

By 1000 BBY the republic almost defeated the Sith, however a fallen Jedi called Kaan became the dark lord of the Sith Lord Kaan and formed the brotherhood of Darkness and started the last Sith war during that time.

During this time the ancient Sith lord Darth Cardinal reappeared but he stayed in the Shadows, the brotherhood of Darkness was wiped out during the 7th battle of Ruusan by not the Jedi but Darth Bane.

For the next thousand years the Banenite Sith corrupted the republic and set it in place for their grand plan while in secret Darth Cardinal built up his own Sith order, around 300 BBY the One Sith were started.

The Banenite Sith reviled themselves in 32 BBY with Darth Maul and conquered the entire galaxy by 19 BBY with Darth Vader rise. The Olmec Sith risen during the rule of Darth Sidious but was destroyed.

The Banenite Sith would be destroyed by a redeemed Anakin Skywalker, ending the rule of two. The next Sith order who tried but was thwarted against ruling the galaxy was the One Sith 31 years later but was stopped by the Republic, the first order and the new Jedi order.

The last Sith order to rise would be the Cardinite Sith 400 years later who would be lead by Darth Onyx but would also be defeated as well though they did rule a large part of the galaxy for a few years.

Society and Culture:

The Sith order during the beginning of the order were structured with the Dark lord of the Sith on the top and slaves on the bottom with Sith warriors above the slaves and the Sith lords above the warriors.

During its early history the Title Darth was developed and became closely related with the title Dark lord of the Sith and was used until it’s ends.

Sith culture was reformed when the rule of two only letting two Sith lords to exist at one time and were more secretive.

Their was actually no rule Against having families and kids in the Sith order but it was seen as a weakness so it wasn’t common, especially a union between two Sith Lord/Lady however they did happened time to time.

A common misconception is that Sith have to kill somebody they love throughout all Sith orders, this wasn’t the case until  Darth Bane Sith order was formed and previous Sith didn’t actually kill their loved ones. Moreover if they don’t have loved ones when recruited  the rule doesn’t apply, even if they have a family later on.

The same was for red Lightsabers, It was a tradition rather then compulsory to have a red bladed Lightsaber and even after the formation Of Darth Bane Sith order Sith lords like Darth Gravid used a green/red double-bladed Lightsaber though he was a traitor.

History of Sith pure bloods:

The actual species that once bore the name Sith had a longer history then the Sith order itself, the purebloods shared a unique symbiotic relation to the dark side, even ones aligned to the Light could derive sustenance from the dark side itself.

Sith society is well agreed to have started 100 000 years ago, however Sith documents themselves, after the great hyperspace war, many believed that the Purebloods were extinct. However that was proven wrong with the discovery of the tribes of Korraban.

It was also proven further during the reconstructed Sith empire war when an entire Sith empire ruled by Purebloods. After the war they went quiet again, however surviving pockets live on republic worlds near the original Sith space.

After the extinction of the Sith order, the Jedi left the Purebloods alone, however they have been known to indoctrinate Purebloods to the Jedi order, even as late as the era of Darth Sidious.

After the great Hyperspace war, the two main ruling gropes on Korriban were the Nin-khēmia, an ancient grope of Kissai Priests who's isolated nature meant they were never encountered by the Jedi during the great Hyperspace war and wasn't impacted by the Sith Holocaust.

The other grope was an unnamed grope of Sith who followed the Pre-Sith order culture of King Adas and has a good relationship with the Jedi order.
